Does anyone here know what Mr. Groening et all are doing now that the show has not been re-ordered? To appease my need for good wit from the Pacific Northwest I picked up some old Lynda Barry books. Not as funny as Life in Hell or Futurama, but still good summer reading. ("Big Ideas" is a good start if you can find a store that carries them).
Anyway, I got the season finale on Divx and man that was a funny episode. Best parody of Star Trek ever.

Even better than that "Star Truck" fan spoof thingie that I cooked up as high school freshman waaaaay back in 1975? ;) (Maybe I should have been flying more Centuri model rockets and dissecting more junk tube radios and old 8mm projectors, all in the name of science....)
At least "No Fan" ranks up there with Galaxy Quest when it comes to Trek spoofs.
BTW- Anybody remember the animated Star Treks from Filmation from '73 or '74? Been watching a slug of those lately....
