Tom Green *IS* funny.... the problem is that scripted screwball comedies are *NOT* the venue for his humour.

He wrote and directed this screwball "comedy" (and I use the term very, very loosely) so if it's not funny, it's his fault. I think he's a monumental waste of screen space, be it big or small screen, and agree wholeheartedly with those who hope this failure puts an end to his movies.

I know that sounds bitter and cruel, but there is a movie out there that wasn't made because this one was.

I would argue that he's not funny or talented at all. And his writing and directing for himself a movie that is "not the proper venue for his humor" doesn't exactly prove me wrong. It also means he lacks judgement, among other things.

All this Tom Green talk has got me wondering if anybody remembers the rap group he was in? A bunch of geeky white kids from Brampton or Hamilton or wherever the fuck he's from, formed a rap group named Organised Rhyme. In answer to your inevitable questions, yes they sucked! They still their one video on Much Music up here sometimes...good for a laugh.

All right, everyone needs to realize that the "humping the dead moose" segment is not the only thing Tom Green has ever done. Some of his stuff is downright hilarious, such as the time where he painted his parents' house plaid, when he lay in a crowded sidewalk for about 5 hours without moving, and even the whole thing with he and monica lewinsky. Granted yes some of his stuff is crude but I think he's a funny funny guy, and I think this movie could be great.
