Missed ending of "Jurassic Bark"

I missed the last 10 minutes of "Jurassic Bark" (11/17 episode) How did it end?

I would find it online instead of having us describe it to you. Many of us had a very powerful reaction to it.

yeah, see the end through a download or rerun or something, don't let it be spoiled for you. You don't want one of the most truly moving things EVER to hit the tv screen to be ruined for you.

Yeah... I also think Futurama tries to get too emotional at times like this - it's supposed to be a comedy, but with endings like this and the Fry's clover episode, it seems more like a soppy drama.

The end of "Jurassic Bark", was basically the opposite. He will never find out that Seymour remembered him to till the end.

Unless, of course, he changes his mind, fixes the clone machine and clones Seymour after all. Assume Fry will live a normal lifespan (140 years) he will have plenty of chances to change his mind.

There's no reason comedy can't have a serious side to it, or vice versa.

Well yeah, obviously - but I kinda expect shows like Futurama and the Simpsons to be funny with a satirical edge - ok, so the simpsons has lost it these days, but I just don't like Futurama doing the "try-and-make-the-viewers-cry" thing. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather that were left to the countless Hollywood films that seem to have to get all sentimental for no good reason.

To be honest, my own opinion is that while Simpsons have been pretty consistant, Futurama has ranged wildly from excellent to utter crap.

Are you kidding? I mean, I won't argue that Futurama has had a lot of variety in quality (but interestingly, you'll not be able to find agreement from anyone about *which* episodes are excellent and which are utter crap), but the only thing consistant about The Simpsons has been a slide into Garfield/Peanuts-esque obsolescence over the last few years.

heh. That being said, I *did* love the end of 'Luck of the Fryrish'. 'Time Keeps on Slippin'' too for that matter.
