Might as well admit it. Here's my reviews, very short though.
'Space Pilot 3000': I liked this one not much comedy, but the atmosphere of it all, and was sort of tainted by the next few episodes,
'This Series Has Landed': Ken Keeler redeemed himself from one of his Simpsons screw-ups, with this episode. So far the funniest of the season.
'I, Roommate': Another first season charm, this was the last of the first three great episodes of the season. Unlike SP3X, this could be somewhat emotional, but also make good laughs, maybe someday Futurama could not just rely on existing stuff to reference, but also mooch off of "All My Circuits".
'Love Labour Lost In Space': While Zoidberg's egg-laying statement was one of the only funny things in the first part on Earth, what happened in space was pure gold. Zapp and Kif were a great introduction, not really as funny as the first three, but it had great graphics, from Vergon 6, to all of it's animals, and the Praxis-style detonation.
'Fear of a Bot Planet': Probably the last fresh episode of the first season, great parody on the cold war, intro on robots, and lots of good jokes on Chapek 9.
'Fishful of Dollars': While the episode is not *that* bad, it was not the best. The Sanford and Son joke was great, but the drama and all was really offbeat, and it set the root for 'Fry: The Wacky Jerk, Heir Of the AABF Homer'. The ending was pretty funny, but in general, I couldn't really get into this episode.
'My Three Suns': Average episode, the 'Car Wash' parody was blunt and lame, and "It's just a cartoon, so get a life" or not, to just throw a race onto Neptune is something you'd find on Space Cases. Zoidberg was his best in this episode, also having the season's best line: "Uh oh, I shouldnt've had seconds!". The con would definately be watering the Fry-the-Jerk seed, and the only good his moronicness on Trisaul did was setting-up the 'Ant and the Grasshopper' parody.
'One Big Piece of Garbage': A funnier change of pace since the last two. The Armageddon Parody wasn't that funny, but a lot of good jokes in this episode.
'Hell is Other Robots': Bad season finale, IMO. Ooh, Leela knocks everyone out, hahaha. Fry has an afro from an electric storm, subtle, subtle, subtle, ooh, Bender hates some New York-style musical number, followed by a bad song, tweedle-dee-dee. Excellent graphics though, and the credits were pretty good.
