I hate Comedy Central

Two major issues, re: Futurama. They abruptly go to commercial during the act breaks--it's jarring.

Biggest problem: I have yet to see an opening credits gag due to them running the previous show's credits over them.

In a perfect world, Futurama would only be shown on Cartoon Network.

Going back a ways, there's also the shitty way they treated MST3K:

I can't nail it down but I find Comedy Central annoying. I do enjoy a lot of their programming but the movies don't seem right. Everybody else shows movies but their name is Comedy Central. I guess they figure if MTV doesn't play music movies are okay on the Comedy channel. George in Las Vegas

All in all, I would prefer it if [adult swim] aka Cartoon Network would get the rights to Futurama back. I prefer their two act commercial template. They goofed up big by being outbid by CC.

KOTH and FG seem to stay in their slots, which would be contractual obligation. They rotate their own stuff coz they can. If they got Futurama back, it would at least be a nightly showing, or maybe the two they used to do. I loved their futurama marathons.

Besides, it was never the intention of Cartoon Network to repurchase the show, that was Comedy Central's intention (if the DVD sales of the films seemed worth it, obviously (a reasoning to sell the deal to 20th Century Fox)).

Unfortunately, as I understand broadcasting rights in the United States, Cartoon Network and Comedy Central cannot broadcast the same shows, as they are both national cable channels. Which is how they could be outbid.

But that is not to say that Cartoon Network didn't treat the show better. It unfortunately has a better chance of revival on Comedy Central or Fox.
