There was a Twilight Zone episode (I think) and a segment in the movie (I'm certain), where there's a monster on the wing of the plane and only one passenger can see it. The entire Scary Door segment was an montage of twilight Zone episodes.

Firesign Theater - I Think We're All Bozo's on this Bus When Lucy's voice changes whenever she says Fry's name, or any other customer words. In The Future Fair (A fair for all, but no fare to anybody) the president robot kept doing that.

Other Head's I was able to make out in Nappster. Ceech Marin, Harrison Ford, Pamela Anderson, George Michael, Madelen Albright. There were others but A VHS tape only has so much resolution in the wide shots.
There was no Swastika on Hitler, even though they existed as a sigil of protection long before Nazis, like the mustache style Hitler only made them look bad.
The Professor's computer says AOL in FAL2 when they were going on the net to find Nappster.
The Bowl of alphabet soup in "The Scary Door" intro reads "WATCH OUT"

Why does Fry loose so many limbs?
Were Robot celebrity copies partly responsible for the 1st alien attack? Or was that image simply used as a scare tactic ala. "Practice good eating habits Johnny, or die in a crucible of red commie nuclear flame for being a bad American." Kinda stuff from Propaganda Education films.
Were the robot copies synth skinned or hologram overlays? It appeared to be holograms due to the glowy blue aura.
Was that Cuthulu (the "being of incomprehensible horror") who won the eBay auction for the Milkyway galaxy?
"The Scary Door" had several TZs mooshed together "The Scary Door" credits and narration parodied the 4th/5th season opening credits. Man gets everything he wants in Heaven but is really in Hell parodies "A Nice Place to Visit", and the bearded man looks like Sebastian Cabot, who appeared in that episode. Gremlin on the wing parodies the oft-parodied "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet". Man becoming Hitler parodies "The Man in the Bottle", where a man wished he was a world leader. I can't place the bug-disguised-as-woman -- it looks more like an "Outer Limits" or "Night Gallery".

If only we were that lucky. Unfortunately due to the box office the "first" one did, it's a pretty good bet that the next one will be out by the end of 2002, or at the very least Winter-Spring 2003.
That's "Terror at 20,000 feet," one of the top five Twilight Zone episodes ever made, and on the top three in terms of popularity, I believe. The writing is excellent and the acting is good.

I was disappointed that there was no passing reference to Don Knotts.
Did you notice the gestures Dr. Zoidberg is using e.g. when he looks at the Lucy at the Hydrant and say "looks like you're retaining water" (15:58)? I think I've seen these in an R&B video clip, maybe one of Destiny's Child?
