       (a spa treatment causes everybody to become younger, and

       never had)

6/29 - PRE-EMPTED for the movie "True Lies"

DVD NEWS: The Digital Bits reports that Futurama Season 2 will be released in North America on August 12. (Family Guy #2 will be released on September 9.) There is also a "The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror" disc planned (it's not clear, but the site makes it sound like it will be released on September 2, along with a number of Fox horror movies).

What It's not yet released there? Te-hee. :)

I was just the other day contemplating on bying the Season 3 box... (i decided to buy a dvd drive instead) :)

Its only four episodes though, not the whole collection of them (referring to the Treehouse of Horror dvd). And no commentaries, with the only special feature being a reel of Kang and Kodos moments, or something.

But, whatever. It'll be relatively cheap I guess.

OK, they did release DVDs, but it's more important to *show* the show and not preempt it for football half the season... Anybody here seen KOTH preempted 2 or 3 weeks in a row? Perhaps it was a true quote, with a big omission: "Fox has always cared about Futurama" ... However, the first season of KOTH has just been released on DVD, and don't forget that not only has KOTH not been pre-empted for multiple weeks at a time (except when most of the rest of the Sunday lineup was also pre-empted), but Futurama has been pre-empted by, of all things, KOTH repeats.

Did you know there was a time when KOTH got better ratings than The Simpsons? It didn't hurt matters that The Simpsons was up against "3rd Rock from the Sun", while KOTH was up against "Boston Common" (and the other networks were in the middle of hour-long programs).
