Help

I downloaded this file of ABMF but can't work out what it opens with

"Futurama.S02E11-12.DVDRIP.SVCD-ANiVCD.bin"

I've tried Virtualdub, ThePlaya, WinMedia, Mpeg2VCR... ect! All with no luck, does anyone know what I need to open this with?

I assume "Rob" <.> knows that their message (news:vg0tsqee8rb850 @corp.supernews.com) will be archived forever on google groups...

If it's a .bin, it's probably a CD image - a VCD/SVCD most likely. You need to burn it onto a CD with something like Nero (http://www.ahead.de).

That, or, you can try to find a program called Virtual Daemon (I forget the site, but a google search should find it). It makes your computer thing you have additional CD-ROM drives and mount images stored on your hard drive into the new drive created.

Daemon Tools is what your thinking of. Also as for burning the file to cd, Alcohol 120% is my recommendation, far more versatile than Nero, cdr-win or Clone CD etc when it comes to image files. Could also convert the bin file to another format - there are plenty of apps out there now.

I stand corrected. I remembered Daemon in the title and just checked my taskbar, and "Virtual DAEMON Manager" came up, and I went with that. Ah well. I had the right idea =P. Thanks.
