On the C4 episode last night, it finished with the news Chandlers sperm are to lazy, and Monicas womb is to hostile, so if Courteney manages to get pregnant in real life--any sign of a bump yet?-- it'll be interesting to see how the script writers get round that.

I don't know, a fat Monica is not necessarily a sad Monica. Note that Chandler said that he would still love her if she became fat, and in that same episode Monica said that it wouldn't be a problem for her if her body had had to change (because of a pregnancy). Of course, we would be bound to have a scene like this:
Monica: (desperate) Look at how fat I have become! Chandler: But I still love you. Monica: (hugging him) Oh. (pause) That means nothing to me.
But in the end, she might end up accepting herself. Note that Monica's reasons for self-loathing have been mainly: her being fat, her being single, and her being unemployed. Now the last two are gone, the first wouldn't be that big a problem anymore.
But Fat Monica would not be something new in the show.

Something new does not mean something better. It can be better, but it can even be worse. The idea of an ending finale, with a fat Monica, is not what I am expecting. If she's pregnant IRL, let her be pregnant even in the show.
Btw, I don't think that CC would wear a fat suit for a lot of time, you know. And if she's pregnant and they want to hide it, they have to modify her face and her body throughoutly, not only the womb. Or they might turn Monica into an alcohol addicted in order to have a huge beer belly. ;)

Not at all, you're right. But I'm not saying what they have to do in order to please me, but only what I'd like or dislike. And I dislike the fat story and I think that it would be hard to presuade CC to work with a fat suite being pregnant herself.

You know, being pregnant and being fat is not the same thing. A pregnant woman is "big" only in her womb, a fat woman has different lineaments. Since the womb can be really big when a woman is pregnant, to make her look fat instead of pregnant would mean wearing a fat suit (her legs, her arms would be too thin for such a womb) and lot of heavy make up in the face and in the hand because you can't be that fat having such a skinny face and two thin hands. Of course, there are pregnant woman with a really little womb so it wouldn't be a huge problem to make her look a little overweight. I remember in "The Nanny" when C.C.Babcock (Lauren Lane) was pregnant and it's been hidden under big dresses and making her looking fat. It was ridiculous. She was obiouvsly pregnant. I don't like the idea of CC pregnant and everybody acting like nothing happened. To have her looking realistically fat would be a difficolt task, I guess. It would be easy to have her being pregnant even in the show. :)

This I definitely agree with...
But not so much this : ) Having been pregnant a couple times, I can vouch for the fact that it's not just your belly. Your hands swell, your feet widen, your ribcage widens. Lots of women gain weight in the face and backside while pregnant. Lots of women just gain a little extra padding all over.

I mean, a fat man normally has a big belly, but a fat woman is different. She's bigger in other parts than the belly. Therefore, to resemble a fat woman instead of a pregnant one, I think that some heavy make-up - fat suit - is necessary. A pregnant woman could gain weight in the face, but still the proportions would be different from the ones of a fat woman. A fat woman with that belly, would have fattier arms, fattier legs, an a fattier face than a pregnant one. Of course, it depends. Not all the woman gain weight in the same way.

We've already seen how Fat Monica looks and anything different than that won't be acceptable. CC is a slender woman, I doubt that she would gain so much weight when pregnant that they can pass it off as weight gain. Oh, absolutely. In fact, I was just watching the rerun where Phoebe asks Monica for her fat-girl clothes for Phoebe to use as maternity clothes, and I was complaining to my sister that you can't just wear big clothes, the proportions aren't the same.
A plus-size woman usually needs extra space cut for her shoulders and biceps, which usually isn't somewhere pregnant women gain. (When pregnant I wore lots of scoop-neck tees to accentuate the fact that I still had definition in my arms and shoulders!) Also, pregnancy doesn't usually affect your calves - I still had pretty good legs even in my last month.

I remember when my sister was pregnant, she gained only 11 Kgs (24.2 lbs). She was 49 Kgs (107.8 lbs) before being pregnant. She had a big womb, large hips, big bottom, and that's all. No padding all over.
