Yesterday--taping...

Was there a taping yesterday? If so, anyone have the spoiler?

There was no filming yesterday. Next week they film 623, and the week after that they film 624, which brings us to a grand total of not 25, but 24 episodes! :)

Um... hang on a minute. The last taping's on April 14th according to you. That was three weeks yesterday. Three weeks, two tapings. There's another week off in there, isn't there Larissa? :)

Yeah. Okay technically, "this" week would be Friday the 31st, and "next" week would be Friday the 7th, which is when I said they were filming again. :) Sorry for the confusion!

Then again, this *is* Friends. :)

Well they've done it before with episodes that aren't the series finale (or possibly). We never know. I just don't see them resolving everything the way they should in just two episodes, though.

Also, if this is the final season then how will they fit the rest of the "Friends Again" album in such few episodes? Maybe 623 or 624 will include some sort of a big event or a party...but still, I mean there are about 10 songs on the album that have not yet been used...

And the Friends Again album comes into this... how?! They don't need to use *all* the songs on the album, you know - indeed, there are some that I'd *much* rather prefer they stayed well clear of (and can't think why they put them on the album in the first place).

I don't understand. This makes absolutely no sense. Whomever the job belongs, they need to set a *deadline* (and SOON) for finding out when negotions need to be done. They NEED to.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Media hype. That's the *ONLY* reason why they're not telling us directly - I'll bet you they already know exactly what's going on.

I think that the negotiations going on this late probably is a sign that the entire cast is willing to go on and just wants to make sure that the situation is just right.

that's a very good observation. I never looked at it that way. It never occured to me that at this point, they could be negotiating the *details,* rather than if they're coming back or not. And ow that i think about it, i agree that NBC is way to careful and smart to let the question of their return last this long. It makes a lot of sense now. I'm fairly certain (now) that there will be a 7th season. But i could be wrong.
