I have a question about an episode. It's the episode where Ross and Rachel pretend to be married at his parents anniversary party. Where did Rachel say Ross proposed at? Just for my own couriousity, thanks for your help.

It was Ross who was talking about the proposal. It was supposed to be in a planetarium, the place of their first real date. Rachel was very impressed with his description. :)

Yeah, I also found myself wondering the same thing recently. They even validated this in 408, "TOW Chandler In A Box", where Rachel showed Ross a box of sentimental items and produced the movie stub from their first date.

Ross did propose, two years after their divorce - but Rachel rejected him.

I carefully put "first date" in quotes; plus I didn't define it as a first date because they first slept together, I said the planetarium was where they first had sex, not their first date.
As a matter of fact, one could argue that before their first date (at the cinema), they had a date at Laundorama, which was where they had their first kiss (but not because they had their first kiss). However, not everyone would agree with this, which is why the word "real" is used when describing that foreign film as their first real date.
Furthermore, the planetarium was not where Ross first slept with Rachel, that happened at his parents' house; in fact they didn't sleep together at all in the planetarium, they slept together in the museum exhibit.
To repeat Andr�, we are discussing the misbelief that the first date was at the planetarium because Ross said so, but it's not correct. Rachel did not say that, Ross did. And I'm not exonerating Rachel, go read my review where I reported that Rachel showed her skill at greatly embellishing the lie. As for it not being embezzlement, the first time they accepted money (which they should not have done) it was not embezzlement; but after that they enhanced the deceit to take further money, and that WAS embezzlement.

They're showing this episode as I type this. I don't think you can rely on his description of his first date, as he's telling other people how he met Rachel and proposed to her. Ross' parents told all their friends he was married to Rachel and wanted him to play along...he was just playing the part. Here's a small snippet from one of the episode transcripts: Woman: (To Ross) So, how did you propose? Rachel: Oh yeah. That's a great story. Ross: Well, um, actually, I-I took her to the planetarium. That's-that's where we had our first date. Um, she walked in and I had the room filled with lilies, her favorite flower. Aunt Lisa: Oh that is so sweet! Rachel: Shhh! I want to hear the rest! Ross: Then, Fred Astaire singing The Way You Look Tonight came on the sound system, and the lights came down. And I got down on one knee and written across the dome in the stars were the words "Will you marry me?"
Some of it looks like it's based on previous episodes (the planetarium date) and some made up for their "marriage"
Of course, because he doesn't describe their first date. He only mentions it. :)
Well, that's pretty obvious, as he had never really proposed. ;)
