Friends Episodes

I saw the commercial really quick. Is it true that every episode on the DVD's have never before seen footage?

The press release said that the discs "are digitally remastered" and "will include expanded versions of each episode with never-before-seen footage".

A later review said that the total length of the footage was 180 minutes, and also claimed there was a full-length audio commentary.

For all we know this is a mistake, or hype, or plain lies - but three of the 12 episodes have already been released in Europe in the long form.

The first disc is as follows...

      101 "Pilot"
  116/117 "TOW Two Parts"
      118 "TOW All the Poker"
      207 "TOW Ross Finds Out"
      214 "TOW the Prom Video"

..and the second disc contains...

      302 "TOW No One's Ready"
      412 "TOW the Embryos"
  423/424 "TOW Ross' Wedding"
      508 "TOW All the Thanksgivings"
      514 "TOW Everybody Finds Out"

Beware that some people regard 116/117 and 423/424 as single episodes, and so talk about there being only ten episodes on the discs, five on each.
