Survivor beating out Friends in Thursday night ratings

First time I've ever posted on this newsgroup...

I heard Survivor is beating out Friends in the ratings. (except the last two weeks, when Survivor was on Wed) Too bad, though maybe the Monica/Chandler wedding episode (probably the season finale) will draw a much bigger audience.

Speaking of weddings, David Arquette's a very funny guy and a very talented actor, but everytime I see him doing his silly AT&T commercials, I can't help but think, "The beautiful Courteney Cox married this guy?" I guess she married him for his sense of humor. :)

That's true, but Friends really isn't losing ratings. They've stayed consistent and Friends is still the #1 American Comedy. I think it usually finishes at 4-5 in overall ratings every week. It's doing fine against Survivor.

Oh come on. I love friendz 2 but Survivor iz a bigger show. People are losing interest in our Friends....

I think people are also beginning to lose interest in Survivor too. A couple of people who I know who were excited about it say it has a "been there, done that" sort of feel to it now. I don't know if audiences are going to be watching Survivor 3 & 4 as much as they are now.

Friends basically gets the same ratings as they always do. Those who watch Survivor are those who don't watch Friends anyway. Cable and ABC have suffered the most.

First of all..who cares? And what is the definition of majorly? A couple million viewers is minor to the networks. Friends has also maintained it's viewership, Survivor is hurting other shows on Thursdays, not so much Friends.

If you really want a laugh see if you can find a tape of WCW last year where he won the Heavyweight Title.
