Tonight's eppy ..... Spoiler

Spoiler . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Friends is Back everyone and tonight's episode proved that our beloved sextet has some life left in them to last another possible year, if this keeps up.

I loved this episode, starting with Rachel having to confess to her dad that she's preggers and that Ross is the daddy. And to add more to the story, Rachel is acting like the victim, as usual, when she tells him that Ross refused to marry her because she's "Damaged Goods". Ah, just when we missed the old Rachel over the years, we get to see her yet once again, as she's afraid to tell her father the real story behind the pregnancy. Well done.

As rachel's dad is storming over to Ross' to ream him out, Ross is making out with Mona on his couch. Now I am starting to root for Ross and Mona to happen. Two reasons....Ross and Mona is perfect for each other. They have the same interests, and Mona is not annoying. And second...I absolutely have had enough of Ross and Rachel. There's too much yoyoing with these two that getting them back together makes no sense. There were many opportunities for this and it never panned out. Sorry to all the RnR fans, but when they had their one-night, that was the night that would have brought them back together. there is no way that they will get back together now. (ducks from a brick being thrown at me).

Then there's Chandler's bachelor party 2 months overdue. After hearing that Monica had a stripper for her bachelorette party, Monica feels guilty about Chandler not having a stripper for his, that she orders him one. Only to find out later that the Stripper is actually a hooker. This storyline brings Chandler and Joey back together, as they were once before. Hanging out, doing Chandler and Joey stuff. Great line by Joey when he mentions how much he misses his time with Chandler. I think the writers have listened to us about these 2. I have missed Chandler and Joey and some of the crazy and goofy stuff they've gone through. This is the best friendship on any show, and the writers have denied us from seeing that friendship over the past 2 years. Thank you, Bright, Kaufman and Crane. You have made every fan out there very happy.

And one final note about David Schwimmer's directing this episode. Well done. I was cringing before it started because I have yet to see an episode directed by Schwimmer that I actually liked. Well, I loved this one, and I would rank it as the best of this season so far.

This is the kind of behavior that made me dislike Rachel at certain times in the show's history. . She lies to make herself look good and Ross look bad. His marriage proposal was mechanical and insincere, but it was no refusal over damaged goods. She always has treated him like this. It's less sensational than Mental Geller, but it's the other reason why this has never worked out. She does not take responsibility for her actions. It's funny, it's in character, but it indicates that she is also at fault for their failures.

Two reasons....Ross and Mona is perfect for each other. They have

Her reactions to his mistakes are in proportion to their importance. She is the first girlfriend he's had in years who did not punish him grossly and ridiculously out of proportion to what he did wrong. She also enjoys those things which interest him and bore so many other people. I think the writers are sending us a very strong message about which direction this is going. They are making Mona too reasonable, Ross' connection to her too intense and honest, and the romantic interaction with Rachel too strained for even a diehard to miss.

I am an R&R fan of several years, and I agree with you. I think it was made clear to us tonight that the sane, healthy relationship that restores Ross' sanity and makes him whole lies in another direction from Rachel. She just does not, at a deep and substantial level, understand what he is about, and she does not really value him except when he is of use to her. He has never seen her for who or what she really is, good or bad.

This was, without question, the best C&M story we've seen since early in Season 6. They were actually believable.

The Mondler/Chanica connection went dull fast, the stripping thing aside. I think part of the problem with Chandler is that, as a married man, he loses his greatest comic characteristic, failure with women. It might be great to see him out with Joey, suddenly getting hit on like never before in his life. Put a gold band on a man's hand, and suddenly his no longer a threat. I know of what I speak. Of course, he'd freak out. He is Chandler Bing after all.

I think we all know that Mona's days are numbered on the show. Just give her a few more episodes and something will happen to the relationship.

I hope not Laurie. I mean, I'm sure that will happen, but I think it's about time that Ross found a woman who he's really good with. Look at his history. There was Carol, the lesbian, then Rachel, who is too into herself, and then Emily (ugh, don't get me started), and then finally, Elizabeth, the student. None of these woman have given any reason for Ross to find love again. Then along came Mona, and she's everything he's been looking for in a true love. I hope the writers don't screw this up because of RnR. I know the fans really want to see that happen, but if you look at the real picture, RnR are over and it's been overdone. I'm enjoying the tension mounting between them this season, and it's fun, but it won't work if they try to get them back together.

What I'd really like to see is Mondler showing off their marriage a bit. We got to see it tonight with Monica stripping for chandler, and him enjoying it, and it was a hoot. I'd like to see more of that. Actually, I'd like to see something a little more dramatic happen with their marriage to create a little tension there. You know, spice things up. Just my 2 cents.

Look, I really believe Ross deserves to be happy but if you look at the past loves of all the friends, not one has stayed on permanently. Not one. The only relationships that have been on-going are the ones between the friends. It would be difficult for Mona to get accepted by the fans as a 7th "friend". She has only appeared in a few episodes but so far she seems like a good match to Ross. But I would be really surprised to see her as a permanent addition to the cast.

Anyway, I wanted to hit Rachel (again) in this episode for pinning all the blame on Ross (as usual). She's such a selfish b*tch! She did attempt to make up for it at the end though.

Looking back on it (when it was actually happening i hated it cause i wanted R&R together), it was a good relationship and probably would have kept going had Ross not found out that Rachel was "over" him.

That's still one of my favorite lines... "When were you under me?"

Ok, I think that they have done enough damage to Ross's character with the 3 divorces. They don't need to bring back those other women. I would like to see R&R back together. And who would EVER want Janice to return? Oh- My- God!!!

They cannot bring back Janice because when Mondler didn't want her to come to their wedding they said that Channie still had feelings for her and then when she was leaving she told Channie to "call me when this thing goes in the pooper." So unless they bump into each other i don't think they'll see each other.
