I've been watching again and its growing on me. I like it better than I did the first around. So I guess it is leaning towards the good side of average. But they've had better premieres.

According to spoilers, a lot of funny stuff having been cut. Too bad. I hope they make it onto the dvds. -Priya

I agree. It wasn't as good as I hoped it would be, but Jennifer Aniston's performance was certainly impressive. And, to point out something else, did anyone notice how kind and sweet Monica was in this episode?

I didn't laugh out loud once at this episode, but that doesn't mean that it was awfully boring. Joey's speech was pretty good, but hardly original. Ross's story was so obvious it got boring, while Chandler didn't really do much. The girls saved the day (and the episode) by doing everything they could to help Rachel out. Hopefully, tonight's episode will be better.

Average, it wasn't particularly funny, like most other season premiers (Frasier, That 70's Show)

Yet it was only the Season Premiere that had 31.7 Million people watching, beating out ER.

Which I know doesn't mean it was the funniest, but it still caught the attention of a lot of people.

Anyways getting back to the point, I thought Average (an 86 [B-]

I thought Jennifer Aniston was awesome as always she has such great comedic abilities and yet and be dramatic and ironic and subtle all at the same time. Somebody needs to find her a good movie. I loved Picture Perfect but it didn't do well. I thought everyone did pretty good actually, Monica trashing Phoebe and then realizing it was Rachel who was pregnant. I didn't like the lame dancing stuff where chandler couldn't dance and Ross had the girls dance on his feet. They could have made their point with several little girls pestering him, they didn't need to bring out the big fat girl and jam the joke down our throats.

Same here, I agree it was average.
