Hey everyone! This is what I heard! Ross and Pheobe are leaving the show! Doesn't that suck! I would hate for them to leave! But they are. I don't know why! If you know, could you please tell me! Thanx! Neko

The rumour is that Schwimmer and Kudrow are holdouts at the moment. Kudrow has creative differences; she thinks the characters need to be allowed to grow and MATURE more than they have. I am not sure what David is digging his heels in about unless he's just tired of Ross. (And presumably has been for some time.)

Nothing is certain.

Gee, if the fans aren't listened to, wouldn't it at least be nice if they at least listened to Lisa Kudrow?? She has a good point!

Pretty much, with the exception of Adam Chase and Greg Malins, who I'm sure are in their 30's, and *possibly* a couple others. And of course Marta Kauffman and David Crane.

I wish Kauffman and Crane would come back and nurse their baby more often. They've never written an episode that indicated disdain for the characters or dismissive contempt for the intelligence of the audience. Yeah, yeah, I know they are very busy with Jesse and Veronica's Closet. (Priorities kinda confused somewhere? Which of their three projects is worth saving?)

Well, maybe it's got a little to do with money? At the beginning of this season they got massive bonuses (so huge I can't even disclose the amount :( ) for BKC the production company, for all three shows, not just Friends. If they're being given that kind of money for having successful shows (notice the plural), then yeah, I could see why they might want to keep concentrating on trying to make the other two successful.

But hear in france all of that is not that big a deal and i can't help notice that distance may explaine this: Hear in hour galaxie information takes time to come. And... how by the way, do you think that Reagan will ever be president at one of this days

Or better yet- which one *can* be saved? (Either that, or how secluded are these people that they don't realize what the audience likes).

I thought you guys were completely against character development always wanting Chandler and Joey to be the goofy bachelors they used to be, and the girls too, and Ross being the way he used to be I think positive character development must happen.. they are 6 years older.. and they need to find love, and grow up.. but also have this childish adult side too. maybe apart from the way Ross changed. the others have changed for the better (all just in my opinion) Phoebe has become as diztzy but a little more normal Monica is a bit more obsessive, but still very sweet natured Chandler is less funny, but as cute and loveable as ever Joey has got cuter and a lot more funny and dimmer !! Rachel has got more self-empowered and a bit less spoilt Ross has become more geeky, but still very sweet

I may very well be wrong.. what do you guys think ??

Monica hasn't exactly grown as a character. She was never afraid of commitment so that's not an issue. Being with Chandler could be an area of growth because she has to be more accepting, but she really hasn't been. In fact it's gotten worse.

Rachel has grown as far as proving she can make it on her own and her professional life has improved. Of course, her main story(her relationship w/Ross) hasn't really developed, but rather shows signs of it and then regresses back to where it was before no matter how unrealistic that may be.

Pheobe- we haven't seen any growth in her career or personal life. She can be ditzy if the episode calls for it or normal if the episode calls for that.

Joey- Nothing. He's gotten dumber. The main thing you can say is that Matt has made the most out of the terrible storylines he's usually given.

Ross- I don't even want to get into it. He grew in seasons 1-4 and regressed in seasons 5 & 6.

I think you have right, and I think Ross is very funny when he screw things up.

Helena, most of us agree that they need to grow up. We are not against character development per se, but these people aren't developing. They are going backwards. We'd LIKE for them to find love and grow up! That's why we are grousing!

yeah.. I guess they are going backwards.. but I think I still like the way Joey is and I still love Chandler like I always did and Monica is still the friend I always wanted and etc etc etc..... I guess I'm trying to be positive.. after all, it's a great show..

I'll never understand how the schools can continue to provide sex education so *badly*, and *still* wonder how one of their pupils could end up in the exact situation they supposedly try to prevent when the inevitable happens. (And they also wonder why everyone else is reading the supposedly 'offensive' magazines which teach more than probably every school put together.)

i'd say physically and mentally he's much older than his years. if you saw him you'd think from the way he looks and acts that he's about mid-20s. when people find out his real age they're shocked, to say the least :)

he's been freaking out for the past... 9 months :) <g> it was actually due for the 10th but there was no sign of ickle babby so they had to induce it. he SMSd me today to tell me, but my phone was off so he came round here and gave me a heeeawge hug, and we gave him our congratulations. I'll be sure to pass the congrats on, tomorrow (he's singing in the school concert I'm playing in).

the mother is an ex-pupil (she's 19), unfortunately she hates his guts, doesnt want to see him or speak to him, and to top it off she's refusing to say that the kid's his though (which has made him very upset)

nyway, i really cant say anymore as i'm off to phone him in a minute. sees y'all laters!

I guess you don't know me very well :) or at all, even. I've been a HUGE *HUGE* C&M fan since season one (TOW The Birth), thanks, and I'm not planning on changing from them anytime soon, but I think it's because I'm such a big fan of them that I find this fact about them frustrating. Being around relationships of varying degrees of commitment, as an external viewer I guess I see the good and bad points of my friends' various relationships (I, on the other hand, am gonna die alone, but 'nuff said <g>) The relationships that work out are the ones that have an equal degree of give and take between the couple, however I don't see this between C&M as much as I would like it (I realise that as viewers we only see a small portion of what would be their lives, but still...)

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for Chandler and Monica forever!

More specifically, I think Monica is very harsh with Chandler. It isn't merely that she takes him for granted; she's very critical of him. I don't want them to break up over this, but I'd like somebody to address it sometime. I nominate Joey.

This TOW Unagi you're talking about? ISTM that she was being nice to Chandler because she felt guilty after *thinking* he had done this fantastically wonderful sweet thing for her [i.e. making the tape] but she was [natually] a bit peeved after finding out he had lied to her.

I'm having a bit of a mental block currently (too many important things going on in RL). Has she ever actually done something of her own accord for him?

He could start moaning to Chandler about how he's no fun anymore, and about how 'whipped' he is... or anything for the *whu-pah* again, quite frankly :)
