Article about Matthew's health...is this a reliable source?!

There is an article at http://www.the-sun.co.uk/news/7926195 that says that Matthew Perry needs a new liver! UK fans, is the Sun a rag...or a real paper? Just curious. I do hope this isn't true.

The Sun *was* a proper newspaper (as it started out as The Herald and mutated in the late 1960s). It went through a "rag" phase in the late 1980s, but on the whole its sources are reasonable and although they do have mad moments they're more trustworthy than, say, the National Enquirer. They were (and probably still are) the biggest selling tabloid in Britain, and don't print trash unless it's been fed to them from what appears to be a good source. I wouldn't completely trust this story until I hear it somewhere else, but OTOH I wouldn't dismiss it as fantasy out of hand.

I would say to anyone attacking any newspaper not to underestimate the abilities of the people who work on it, even if you despise what the paper itself stands for. The same applies to disparaging the acting abilities of people in films & TV - don't knock it if you can't do it...
