Just wondering if anyone had any speculation - or opinion on what the rest of the season holds? and how the rest of the season be played out if you were one of the writers?

Phoebe will get married and get really busy with country club business. Ross will get that grant to study dinosaurs in the Painted Dessert and he and Rachel will move to Arizona together. Monica and Ross's dad, Jack Gellar, will die and Chandler and Monica will move in with her mother, Judy. I thought Rachel's mother was going to "go lesbian"? When Carol and Susan got married, didn't Rachel's mother say something about how it was nice to always have that extra option, or something like that? That was some years back, so maybe she's ready.
But seriously, will Ross actually get the grant? It was offered conditionally on his "dumping" Charlie. Yet he did not take up that offer. Charlie chose by herself. So will what's his name still give Ross the grant, or will he give it to someone else because Ross did not play along? Ross no longer has that leverage point.
