As an American, I just want to thank all our international F*R*I*E*N*D*S here for all their words of support. Thank you for thinking of us.
What happened today is the worst news I've ever heard in my lifetime. It's been very comforting to be able to discuss it on the Internet.
The twin towers have appeared on the show Friends a number of times, and it will be both disturbing and incredibly sad to see the reruns.

No words can describe this horror. I have family close to the area and in one case, it was simply a last-minute change in plans that saved her from being at or near ground zero. Also, my brother in Jersey doesn't know if he has a job any more because his satellite crew was located in the WTC and he doesn't know if they are alive or dead. This has been such a nightmare.
