I just watched the Whole Nine Yards with Matthew Perry and Bruce Willis and I thought it was absolutely brilliant. Perry has such a brilliant comedy face and I thought he and Willis worked very well together. I would like to see Perry though in a drama because I want to see him serious!

I just think a good actor can play any role and before I really judje Matthew Perry I wouldn't mind seeing him play something serious. But there's no doubt he's a great comedy actor.

Yeah, I think Mathew Perry was done very well with the few serious storylines he has had on Friends
(especially episode 308: TOW The Giant Poking Device, when Janice left him for her husband).

Ironically, I think MP's personal problems may make him a more likely candidate now for a serious role. He's got a lot of life experience to draw upon, and the recent photos accompanying the articles about him are much more hard edged than the choir-boy look he's had in the past.
IIRC, the movie that he was to begin in April was titled, "The Beginning of Wisdom" .......
