OK, this episode is barely half over and I already think it has the "lame" aware clinched: Yet another clip show, the teaser dropped the ball a couple of times in the "funny" department, and Act I ends with the 10 millionth re-enactment "husband/boyfriend is off by himself with pretty female who thinks marriage/commitment is something that is no big deal"

Sure, Chandler fended her off in classic fashion, but heap a few pounds of jealous depression on him and he probably would have fell for it, just like Ross did.

And one of the clips was itself a flashback, how lame is that?

I heard they were only going to do the big clip show IF they decide not to extend one extra, tenth season. If we get a tenth season, then the big clip show would apparently be moved to the end of season 10.
