Another so-so episode

SPOILERS.....

Again, Friends had some good moments and bad moments....

The baby's non-stop crying...just sort of a boring plot device. I liked seeing Monica take control and get the baby to stop, but wow they just dragged it out to long. And doesn't she have a job she has to goto? And notice not a single one of them noticed that Ross was gone for hours to get diapers and a muffin. The Chandler falling asleep and getting assigned to head the Tulsa office was funny, but also kind of stupid. He could have clarified what had happened rather easily, and since the situation wasn't resolved this week, I guess we have to deal with it for another episode. I kind of liked that the Joey/Ross issue got resolved, it's about time. Now just let Rachel and Ross get together. And poor Phoebe, she honestly has nothing to do except act stupid. They need to give her a love interest or something.

And why no mention of how Ben was the exact opposite? (For a show that's always had the same producers, it sometimes lacks continuity)

Apparently, Friends has had teams in Oklahoma filming sequences for the show (probably those lame exterior shots that seque between scenes), so apparently Chandler's going to be spending some time in the Sooner State. Whether Monica joins him or not is another matter.

Phoebe is going to be getting some love this year. Hank Azaria is reprising his role and apparently Paul Rudd will be on for several episodes as a boyfriend.

a long time that I could say "god I've been there" with a crying baby that will not stop. I didn't like how they made Joey look a little bad by ducking, I mean it made Ross look like the 'poor guy who just got beat up on by his best friend' but all in all it was funny. I do agree that the Tulsa part was a little lame. Anyway, for me it was good.

All in all, much better than the premiere (isn't that always the case? :)).

Rachel wasn't that funny because I just didn't find the hapless mother routine a riot. I guess I still don't believe Rachel as a mother yet. I'm not sure what it will take, but I just don't buy it.

I'm so glad that Monica is good for the baby this time instead of how it was with Ben. Am I the only one who thought she looked so [b]so[/b] right with a baby in her arms? Especially when Chandler came in ;)

The one think I really wanted to be handle differently was the way that Chandler told Monica about Tulsa. When he came in and said it was a husband and wife thing to Phoebe, I was like, "alright, go mature Chandler." But when he was explaining what happened in the meeting to Monica, he sounded ridiculous. I don't know why he needed to tell her he fell asleep and that's why they are being assigned there. It seemed pretty obvious from the meeting that even if he were awake, he would have been put there. Besides, he's going to be the PRESIDENT of the company there -- not too shabby! He started out so well and then fell into 19 year old Chandler, which I do not enjoy.

I know that Monica doesn't want to move, but I thought it was fairly inflexible of her to make him "try to get out of it." I don't know what kind of companies these people have worked for before, but when the company transfers you, there's no "trying to get out of it." You either go or look for a new job. I'm very interested to see how this plays out.

The Ross/Joey thing I don't get because I don't understand why Ross is so mad at Joey when really it was Rachel that screwed up (if you want to call it that). I just want it all to be over with that and let's move on.

The one thing that sort of convinced me of the Rachel mother thing was the way her abdomen was made to look somewhat pudgy as it should look after giving birth, considering she gained no weight anywhere else...did anyone else notice that?

I think it's great about Hank Azaria! I thought that he was the real thing for her and would love to see the two of them end up together in the end. I hope Paul Rudd comes first and then Azaria comes second and sticks around. Thanks for the info!!
