Woo Hoo!!! I just got my FRIENDS newsletter from WB in my e-mail and they announced that there will be a Top Ten Video-DVD release of FRIENDS Episodes in the US in December!!!! YAY!!!!!!! I know what I'm asking for for christmas! I wonder if they'll be the top ten that was voted on about two years ago when they first started syndecation or not?

I'm glad I live in Europe... (Holland)... I have EVERY EP on tape (original released WB tape that is). Season 6 started here a few weeks ago. (I know, we're behind "schedule" over here...) But hay, I've got 30 Friends tapes... :) But the problem is that one tape costs 40 guilders (about $16), so that means a complete series costs 240 guilders (about $96). If I buy the series on DVD, it costs 160 guilders (about $64).

I called the Warner Bros. office in Amsterdam today and they're still working on the release of S4 and S5 as a boxset. They don't have a date yet. They have the 4 eps tapes and complete dvd sets of S4 and S5, but vhs box has fallen behind schedule. Damb that dvd. :-)

Yeah, I'm thinking that WB should do a new poll with all of the seasons up to date, because when they did that one, they were only up to the fourth season in syndecation and plus, it wouldn't make much sense to put the second half ot TOW Ross' Wedding and not the first half also.

Interesting. There seems to be plenty of people to support your view. Personally, I think 514 is a good episode, but it's not my favorite. TOW All The Kips is my favorite from Season 5.

Football is probably my most loved episode that wasn't on the list.
Anyway, what all this debate illustrates is that it's very mean of Warner Brothers to fob off the poor Americans with only 10 episodes on DVD. You guys should boycott it, and import all 146 episodes on DVD from Europe.
