SPOILER SPACE ...
Downright hilarious! Loved every single second! The Phoebe storyline was genious. At each and every second Lisa spoke I was falling off the couch. (The comedy was *that* good.) I found it to compensate for 613... in which they yanked poor Lisa out halfway throughout the episode. That *really* irritated me. Ross and Rachel storyline... what can I say? Lots! It was wonderful. Once again, Reese shot out some really entertaining lines... and although I didn't laugh at every single one of them her "How gay are you?" was truly rich. Maybe you have to be young to appreciate it but it gave the most amusing portrayal of what a "brat" that Jill sure is! David's comic timing was brilliant in this episode and I found his his closing piece with Rachel to be quite "endearing". Yet I admit his "Dammit kids! If you ring that bell one more time I swear to God-" was incredibly out of character. I did laugh, however. Rather a sad chuckle but it was a good joke, nevertheless. Jennifer. My favorite dialogue out of the entire evening must be when Rachel was begging Ross to stop seeing her sister and to call her to break it off. She was fabulous and her comedic timing was as good as it gets!!! Throughout the entire episode, (from her peeping beginning to when she rolled up her sleeves,) Jennifer was so great it makes me bite my lip and wince when recall that she did not win that People's Choice Award. :-( (Nothing against Calista but please! Jennifer, Lisa, and Courteney surpass them all.) And speaking of Courteney... another VERY different Monica returns. Her little outburst at Chandler was rather droll but it was terribly predictable. I could see her "robot" comment coming from a mile away yet I still sat there praying "Please, please, please- don't change Monica again! Just let her calm down for once and recapture some of her old self... PLEASE!" I suppose I'm a bit too hopeful. In her remaining dialogue, however, Courteney got to act out the regular Monica. With her charming wit and *suttle* neurotic-ness. (*Note... I do know that neurotic-ness isn't a word, I hope you realized. It was my own creation that I hoped people would view it as slightly amusing. Again, I apologize if there any misunderstandings.) I suppose her character only had one setback for tonight and the numbers are decreasing... at least. Chandler... typical Chandler. I must say he pulled off quite a few of really good jokes in this episode and that seemed somewhat comforting in contrast to his latest attempts. The only problem is that Matthew CANNOT pull off that crying act. Well, I suppose he *could* if it was serious dramatic acting, (though I've never seen him do it,) but they except Matthew to be funny... while CRYING? Let's just leave that to Matt. Joey's trembling lip in the Season 4 Finale was much mroe convincing. And speaking of Matt- LOL! My favorite moment of the entire night is when Joey absolutely REFUSED to give in and watch "Phoebe's" porn film. Ever protective of his ditzy soulmate... that was so cute! And his leap from the chair once he discovered it was Ursula- I CANNOT describe to you how I managed to not die of laughing!
