Best Season of Friends and Why

Although Friends has been out for many years and I have caught episodes here and there and even more bits and pieces of Friends episodes here and there, after all 10 years and the finale, just now I have started to get into the series. Seinfield is still my favorite show, I think?

Now,as far as the world of Friends T.V. goes, it's as though I have stepped back to 1994 and progressed forward to 1999. In other words I have watched all the episodes from Season 1 through Season 5. Even though I know some of what will happen in the future, it still seems new to me since I just got into the show recently. I actually have collected the first 5 seasons on DVD. I understand season 10 is due to come out soon. Anyways, to the question. Which Season out of the 10 is the best? Please tell why, and give some examples of episodes. For instance I thought the one with all the Thanksgivings was a great one!

My fevourite season is 10. I also think that since Monica and Chandler are together everything is ... I don't know just better.

Season 5 wins it hands down!

Although I basically liked most of the first six seasons, I'd agree with theracoon. Season 5 was the best. The whole story arc about the secret romance of Monica and Chandler was excellent and led to many, many funny moments, a lot of them with Joey. Beyond that during that season, I also liked two episodes with Reese Witherspoon, visiting sister story.
