When Friends finish will the newsgroup also finish, of just slowly de-populate?

I guess that because it is a very international group, it will live on for a while, because in some countries they haven't shown season 9 yet. (I believe that I've read here that in Poland they were at season 4 or 5 or something like that)

And because the show is available on Video and DVD and it is rerun from time to time, there are always some fans wanting to talk about the episodes. So the group will not die, I guess. On the other hand, how timeless is Friends? My 15 year old niece really has to laugh about those early/mid '90-s hairstyles from season 1. But it's not the hairstyles that matter, it's the comedy and drama...

Could the direction / diversion the writers took these past few seasons be of any influence?

I'd love to erase the dubbing from my country, but I know I can't. I only would like to have the choice. I had just posted a comment about that this morning (the decline in the quality of the show) As for the eps in the wrong order... we are clinging to the hope that they put them on the DVD in production order & not as they aired.
