She said something about getting married in Las Vegas didn't count, somebody corrected her and Pheebs reacted as if she'd been married there. That could possibly mean that the marriage to the notgay ice dancer wasn't legal.

I don't think so. They do the paperwork for the divorce. So they are legally married. Unless there is a way to get legally divorced without being legally married.
