A.The early-bird word on Friends is that Joey and Rachel will decide to be just that--friends--in the season's first episode. Apparently, after the kiss, Rachel tells Joey it just doesn't feel right, and Ross says the same thing to Charlie.

It begs the question: did this spoiler orginate in the infamous "Ain't It Cool News" spoiler of about 6 weeks ago, or is this from a more reliable source?

Even the most die-hard J/R fans like me know that the show isn't going to end with them together, but I think having it end within the first five minutes of episode 1001 is a cheap shot. I've also noticed that Wanda/Kristen takes a question from this "lobsters" person every week, and never takes questions from JnR fans. Bias, much?

Anyway, discuss. And please don't shoot the messanger.

I seriously doubt the network will allow that kind of information to be released 2 mos before the season opener. I don't believe it. It's just wishful thinking concocted by a few neurotic R&R lovers. ~~~ Kathy

I'll believe it when I see it... I heard so many rumors about Dawson'sCreek Finale from some of these same sources and NONE of them were true. I guess we'll all have to wait until Sept.

If this is true, all i can say is WAHOOOOO!! But, while i think something like this will happen, it's probably too early for the friends writers to even know for sure. So wanda may have a contact she's talking to, but he/she can't have info set in stone. It's also possible that wanda got this info from the aint it cool news thing, like you said. As for her bias, she definetely is pro ross/rachel (i can't say that i blame her). But she doesn't answer a LOT of people's questions, ross and rachel fans included. This lobsters person is probably someone she knows. Even though wanda/kristin has been fairly responsible in the past, she HAS been misinformed a few times, and i'm just not sure that the spoiler is reliable. We should find out for sure in a few weeks.
