The Ratings Archive Is Now Complete

I have now obtained all the previously missing viewership data from previous seasons of Friends, meaning the archive is now 100 percent complete and the season averages are completely accurate. You can visit the complete archive by using the link below.

The WB only goes after sites that use their copyrighted material (such as video or sound clips, scripts, etc.). My site doesn't have any of that. The Nielsen ratings have nothing to do with Warner Bros.

As for the background, I will change it next time I update the page. The ten individual season pages with all the ratings have a white background, so maybe you should just browse to the season you want as quickly as possible when you go to the site. :-P

Exactly. That's a key fact that most people forget. Of course, it can also have to do with A LOT of other things. To name a few...

• The amount of promotion given to the episode

• The presence of Friends in the media over the past week

• The competition on that particular night

• The time of year (viewership fluctuates throughout the year)

- Holidays or other calendar events (such as school breaks or other common vacation times)

- Other things going on (such as a big movie premiere or a big news story)

- One down or up week could potentially, at least to a certain extent, be attributed to the currently low number of households involved in Nielsen's panel

• Other indeterminate factors
