Would anyone happen to know...

if the people behind the show are fans of the Gin Blossoms? I know that may seem a weird question...but just wondering..and I have my reason...:)

Ok its a little weird but here it goes...I got into Friends and GBs heavily around summer of 95...and in my weird mind I always imagined the GBs or one of them (particularly Robin Wilson) to guest star in an episode. Sooo....in an interview GBs gave to the radio show Modern Rock Live a caller asked if the band would ever do any guest appearances on shows...and Robin said, "Its funny, one time I was asked to be in an episode of Friends, but uh it didn't happen," so curious as I am I wrote a fan letter to GBs and directed a question at Robin about that comment and he wrote back and stated that he was a backup for Chris Isaak's part ....so...just found it weird and wondering if someone at Friends is a HUGE fan of them...cos I heard again they were gonna have a reference to GBs in the One with the Eggplant, instead they used Hootie...so there ya go :P
