Monica wasn't invited because her old girl-friend is marrying Stuart? Who is that Stuart character? Was he ever referred to before? I'm confused :-) Please help.

It was Monica's cousin, her whole family was invited and she wasn't, she finds out in the end it was her exBF, Stuart, and from what I gleaned it must have been during High School or College years, since cousin knew him.

seems to me like an unusually lame and unfounded side story to the Cheesecake disasters. and even more with the Phoebe finding and losing the love of her life. oh well. it's just that i never had such a "huh?" moment while watching Friends before.
