Hi all,
something I've been meaning to do for an age was create a query database, where you could tap in a few key phrases, quotes or words from an episode and get a list back of all matching eps. This would be great for those who can remember an itty bit of an episode, but can't remember which one it was.
I've managed to get something basic up and running at long last. It's a bit beta at the moment, but seems to be working reasonably well for the most part. It uses scripts from thecfsi.com - I got them before they closed :( - as the source data. Please be aware you *can't* download the scripts. Any matching episodes you get from a query search returns links to the entries in the episode guide on friends-tv.org in lieu of my own content.
What I hope to add is contextual results, where you see the brief snippit of the show that matches your query, and possibly in the future, my own (or others if you would like to contribute) episode summaries - the only problem is that the ones on friends-tv.org are pretty good to start with!! :) Something else I *might* add is a spoiler filter, to disable specific seasons, although with only two left I might not bother!
