spoiler for season 8 cliffhanger...

We have some more information regarding the cliffhanger, which was closed off to the audience. We know a few things: 1) For some reason, Ross has an engagement ring in his pocket 2) The ring ends up in the wrong hands 3) Someone proposes to someone (but as Wanda says, it's not who you think) 4) Judy Geller is involved somehow (b/c her name is in the credits, though she does not appear in any part of the eppy that the audience saw, so one could infer that she's involved in the cliffhanger).

My guess (and WISH!!!) Is that Ross finally realizes that he re-loves Rachel, and he proposes. But Wanda said that it's not who we think, so maye this doesn't happen. And I figure that Joey has to play into it somehow! Any other ideas now that we have these details??

I think there's a fifty/fifty chance this is right. TV Guide agrees with you about the ring, but the idea that it "isn't who you think" is all Wanda. On the other hand, Kevin Bright has indicated that Joey has a part to play in this. Wanda does not actually know anything; all of her information is entirely second-hand. While I believe Bright and TV Guide, I don't put much stock in Wanda unless what she says is confirmed by somebody else.

What if Rachel proposes to Ross like Monica proposed to Chander?? This would be Ross's fourth marriage and that seems a bit wierd for me.

One might argue it's a do-over for the third marriage since that was with Rachel, after all.

I just can;t think of anything that Judy can do to spoil/liven up the ending. I've been thinking about it since you posted this, but just have no ideas. Blank.

Let's think: she is Ross' mum, she is nasty and horny, from what we know about her. What can she do to make the ending huge? It can;t be a horrible desease or death as it's a comic show. Surely it's not someone walking on her and Ross's dad while doing it-it's been done. Maybe she announces she is pregnant? I suppose not at that age. Is it something to do with Emma? Granma and grandchild? But what? Ideas anyone pls! What is Judy doing there???

2.If Ross has a ring it's for Rachel obviously. "Ring ends up in the wrong hands". Whose? Ross's mum and dad and Mon and Chandler are already married so wouldn;t mean anything, which leaves Phoebe and Joey. And perhaps Janice. So does Joey find a ring and gives it to Phoebe and Phoebe thinks he is proposing to her and says YES? Or: Joey finds a ring and Rachel thinks he is proposing to her so they kiss while Ross walks in and sees it happen? Phoebe-Ross combination is not likely is it. Again, where does Ross's mum come into it???

3.Lastly it could be Joey who wants to propose to R, but Ross get hold of the ring acidently and R thinks Ross is proposing and says YES, at which Ross turns around and says he doesn;t really wanna marry her?

I dunno! Pls give some ideas!!!!!!!
