Downloads from Kazaa/morpheus

Just a warning to anyone downloading episode 806 - TOW Monica's Halloween Party. They are playing silly buggers on Kazaa/Morpheus again. the file sized 95786kb is actually TOW the videotape and not the Halloween Episode.

I have Morpheus and I thought I could only download short videos or music. You mean I can download full episodes of Friends and other shows? What about movies? Damn, I hope so, seems like that from reading your post. Please do let me know.. Thanks from Miami.

Tell me about it! I had the same problem downloading 805. I spent hours downloading to find it is actually 804. Obviously some smartass using kazaa wants people to bug people. Anyway, once bitten twice shy. I check for 806 within hours of it airing in the US and found atleast 6 people had it. I saw the byte size was the same as 804 and knew immediately this wasn't really 806. Just to be sure, I messaged all those people and asked them if it really was 806. I got two responses that it was. What Liars! I replied saying that I was suspicious because of the byte size and told them I'd wait for a while.

it's possible that they all downloaded it from 1 pers, but the real one is 98 meg

Can you tell me where from? I've been searching every site I can think of but can't find 806....preferable with supported resume cuz my ISP cuts off every 2 hours and I've only got a 56k modem.

I get mine from KaZaA. If the download is interrupted it will resume when you reconnect and if the user you were downloading from is not online it checks for other users with the same file and downloads the rest from them.

Hey Owen, we should report them to NBC for causing us hasstle when we illegally download copyrighted episodes. d;-) But yes, I wish we could do something to them. But what supprises me is that others who download the incorrectly labeled episodes are leaving them on their hdd and showing up in a search. If people deleted the wrong files or put a message in the description saying which episode it really is then how much easier will our lives be. I say that when we find out who is doing this, obviously some kid using his dads PC for something else other than porn, then we should all chip in and send them to Kabul.

Its not funny alright. But I we can't find out who it is either. One person would do it and a whole bunch of others would download it from him/her. What I don't understand it is why they keep it there and let more people upload from them. If you download a misleading or terrible quality file, delete it immediately. Thats the only way to curb this.

When you download it just change the title of it and the description and then you can still keep the episode but it will have the correct info. I hate it when that happens too and I have DSL it is a pain.

AHH I see now, I didn't realize that everyone was keeping *every* episode. That makes sense then. I only download the ones I haven't seen. I guess someone has to keep copies out there for us all to download :) So now to rephrase my comment - If you don't have that episode just change the title.

YET ANOTHER DUD FILE! I am so peeved, the 119mb version is actually 801. Right, that's it, I'm going to post a list with the correct sizes on because this is getting ridiculous!

801 - 119,726kb - 67,694kb 802 - 116,524kb - 63,006kb 803 - 66,796kb - is the 93mb version correct? 804 - 95,786kb 805 - 93,384kb 806 - 98,802kb

Some of these may be wrong, please feel free to add.

Owen, I found the 119 size myself and was tempted to download it but I checked my season 8 episodes and saw it was 801. I messaged this guy and asked him and got a reply like "I haven't watched it yet. I just downloaded it". Yeah right. These people obviously only have season 8 episodes so it should be easy to check the file size before you download. Just make sure it isn't the same as 801-806. And like Marita said, the first person to get the correct file, should post here about it.
