Imagine 10 years worth of bloopers...

Does anyone know if there will be a blooper reel on the "The last one" DVD? The outtakes on Leno were taken from the Season 6 documentary (hosted by Conan O'Brien) IIRC. There has got to be tons of stuff worth putting on DVD...

I'm wondering if they even kept the bloopers from the older seasons. They might not have realized there would be a market for TV seasons on DVD at the time they were filming, and didn't bother to preserve the blooper reels.

I would think they would have still have them. I remember reading somewhere a few years ago that as much as 20 hrs of film is used in the taping of an episode. Even after all the 10 seasons have been released and the show still captures the imagination of the viewers, I am confident there would be a commemorative or anniversary edition of Friends on DVD with some special outtakes some years down the road.

Ditto. The blooper reels are the funniest part of the DVDs. On the Season 6 gag reel, there is a scene where Chandler and Monica are walking in to the apartment and Monica says something like "They said to meet them at the coffee house at 6" and Chandler says "They said seven, you dumb whorebag." It is hilarious. I laughed for quite a while on that one.

Though many may not know the show, you should look at the Red Dwarf DVDs, which have cast commentary for all episodes, season specific gag reels, scenes that were cut for whatever reason, music cues, interviews with behind the scenes people, the Series 1 set even had the Japanese version of the pilot on them....
