I wonder if NBC would consider (if all else fails) replacing the cast of friends (and keeping the ones that want to stay and not listen to Lisa) with new people to keep it alive and try to keep their linup strong.

Didn't stop it lasting a long time though :) Also it wasn't all bad acting. Lets face it, the original SBTB cast weren't Oscar nominees to begin with. I believe something occured in regulations saying that all kiddie TV of that type had to include educational value. Every episode had to have a message. Also I don't think they were allowed to put as much emphasis on nasty stereotypes as they did in the original (nerds, jocks, cheerleaders etc). It stopped being good viewing because it was constantly educating the youth of today about smoking, drinking, dyslexia, anorexia, bullying, and anything else you can think of. Strangely, the smokers never smoked again, the drinkers never drank again, the dyslexic was never seen again, the anorexic got over it damn quickly, the bullies always disappeared. If they really WANTED to cover these topics they wouldn't have pigeon holed them into single episodes. Just my 2 cents :) Then again what can you really expect from kiddie TV. Also since SBTB originally ended that guys made about 20 clones and they're all crap. Or maybe i'm just outgrowing it :)

That would be weird. I still see the ratings dropping tremendesly if they do any cast changes. It's either all or nothing so of course it would greatly impact everything. People will expect certain qualities of the show.

I would have absolutely no interest in this show at all. A very easy decision.

Now, honestly, if I were a network exec type, I'd be approaching Perry and LeBlanc to star in a spinoff that was just about them.

But they would either have to find some way for the two of them to move away from their present home, or have the girls leave together. I mean, they can't just have the guys live in the same place and just not mention the girls.

BTW, this is all assuming that C&M break up (on good terms) and Chandler and Joey move back together, with Rachel moving back with Monica. (I think I'm cyber-dodging all of the things being thrown at me from all of the C&M lovers...)

Seriously, though, it sounds like a good idea, but they would have to find some way for Chandler and Joey to remain together with everybode else out of the picture.

Hon, we are SERIOUSLY overdue for some good news! And I think our chances of getting any - ever- are really, really poor.

That's true, but I'm still hoping for a happy end for *all* the fans, and by that I mean fans of both couples and the rest of the fans as well.
