If the writters/producers make it seem like Joey goes on vacation to NewYork for summer hiatus... assuming there will be a second season (or even just a weekend during mid season)
Can he say that he visited Chandler, Monica, Phoebe etc? Or will there be any copyright infringement issues with that? Would he be limited to say that he saw his old friends? Or talked even just talk to them on the phone?
It's just hard to believe that a bunch of people that were THAT close...closer them some families would just cut communication just like that.
