Okay, how about Robert DeNiro as Chandler's Dad? Since Analyze This and now Meet the Parents, DeNiro has really branched out and showed his fans his funny side. And he is funny. I hope that Lisa Kudrow has some power with DeNiro from Analyze This for her to ask him on the show the way Matthew Perry did with Bruce Willis. What do you guys think?

Sorry, unless they change history I just don't see RDN as being able to pull it off......remember, Chandler's Dad is the head of a gay burlesque show named "Viva Las Gay-gas".......JMO.

Ugh, I've never really liked him, on stage or in the movies. Doubt I'd like him much better on TV. But besides that, I think Lane's a bit young to play Chandler's father. (He's about 12 or 13 years older than Perry in real life.)

No. I know deNiro is a great actor and can be quite funny, but I can't see him as Chandler's dad. We're talking about a man who was married to Morgan Fairchild and left her for a guy. (I'd like to think deNiro has better taste than to marry Fairchild). Now, Burt Reynolds (who unlike deNiro actually does television) would be an interesting choice.
