Friends--what's going wrong?

What exactly do you think is going wrong with the show? Here are my suggestions.

1.They've totally forgotten the narrative. There's supposed to be a wedding coming up, right? What happened to it? Also, Joey was rehired as Dr. Drake, right? But it was never alluded to again.

2. Rachel's personality is going from warm and kind to shallow and hard. Since when has her character supposed to have been promiscuous? She used to be sort of romantic.

• It's getting surreal, as in that candy scene.

4.There's too much emphasis on running or bike riding funny, or thinking a common thing is unique (cookies, furniture).

5. There's too much "gay embarrassment" plots,(like when Chandler sits on Monica's dad's lap.

I think they must return to the wedding theme, have all other plots tie into that (Maybe they could make Tag an usher or something?), and forget these stupid bike and jogging stories!

As I have said before, the characters are coasting. None of the actors (except maybe MLB) are putting their heart into the performances, it appears. It looks like they're just reading lines with just enough animation to get paid. Hell, *I* could act with more enthusiasm and creativity than a considerable portion of the current cast has displayed in recent episodes.

Rachel has always been promiscuous, especially at college. And she is a kind person at heart who was then sadly spoilt in her childhood.

Friends has always had it's surreal moments. One of my favourites is when Phoebe the surgeon told Monica's family how the operation went.

There's nothing new about this either.

Have you *seen* the first six seasons?

There's enough of the wedding as it is.

I'd like to see Monica and Chandler be apart more often.

There's mention of it... Ross told him not to expect to see him around too much just prior to the wedding, due to the way Monica acted while she was cooking...

Well, last we saw, he played Dr. Drake as a comatose patient, with his face covered. Unless they plan on giving him a miraculous recovery, I wouldn't expect to hear much about it.

Somewhat true, but she has always been a bit shallow, being a spoiled girl. And has always been somewhat promiscuous, or where have you been? Remember TOW The Blackout in season one? Remember when Chandler had his third nipple removed, he made the comment (about himself), "Two nipples, no waiting!" and Monica said, "Just like Rachel in high school"?

Don't tell me you didn't see that coming...

There's only been two or three so far this season. But yes, they have been playing on the Chandler-seems-gay theme a bit too much.

Disagree. It's quite boring if the wedding is the only thing they talk about.
