What happened to MNL

I was a frequent poster in this NG 5 years ago, I recall a guy calling himself "MaynotLast" also being one. Rumour had it that he was in fact Michael Curtis, one of the writers on the show. Does anyone know what happened to him, is he still visiting this NG?

Chandler: Oh, she's got you running errands, y'know, picking up wedding dresses... Wah-pah!

Ross: What's wah-pah?

Chandler: Y'know, whipped! Wah-pah!

Joey: That's not whipped! Whipped is wh-tcssh!

Chandler: That's what I did. Wah-pah!

The person (I know his name) who most harassed MNL styled himself as a 'girl' called "Evil Jo". After much debate in 1998 (which you ought to know about Allan) MNL promised to prove himself in an upcoming episode he had written, much later airing as 504 "TOW Phoebe Hates PBS".

If you check out the Magnadoodle board, you will see MNL's proof.

Following this dispute, MNL left ATF, and thus we lost an extremely valuable inside contact with production of the show. :(

Yeah, I remember that episode, the magnadoodle says : "EvilJoe" after Phoebe had a quarrel with Joey about there being no good deeds. However I also seem to recall this NG flooding with posts later that year giving tributes to "EvilJo" as SHE apparently was killed in a car accident?

That's right. This caused quite a lot of distress at the time, but Larissa very cleverly worked out that the guy who posted that, and EvilJo herself, were one & the same person; and to give him his due, he eventually owned up. Incidentally, Larissa knows Michael Curtis quite well, she's even been backstage at the "Friends" studio.

Yes, he was Michael Curtis and he left this group when his writing on Friends came to an end.
