Funny thing....I was working on the same thing without knowing about that site. I had done the first four seasons, saved it to My Documents and now it's gone. I forgot to save it to a floppy before I formatted my drive and re-installed Win98. Am I stupid or what?? :-)

I read it! I read it last night! My god, what a sad story! It's so NOT Friends! But I am impressed with her writing skills. She really dug it out. I tried dropping a review, but I don't have a fanfic account and I had difficulty making one. Any tips?

Not yet, cause I couldn't activate my account yet. I guess the verification email is stuck somewhere, no clue *shrugs* My addy is right and I even changed it to another one, no idea what is up with that.

I didn't get mine until a couple of hours later so I wouldn't worry about it :)

Yayers! I finally got the mail and posted feedback, not only to that one, but also to others of Adelines stories. She's a great writer!

I don't know what to say about whoever unleashed pathetic lines like "His only wish would have been for Monica to go first, so he would be the one to bear the loss & cross of his undying love. But now he knew she wouldn't be first. He would, and that was irrevocable. Not one glimmer of hope," but it certainly wouldn't be "Great Writer."

I don't think the person meant that that fanfiction writers are anywhere near the level of classic writers, but give her a break. You may not like it but someone else does. It's all subjective. It's just a fanfic, why blast it and critique it like it's some kind of published work?

Ummm....sorry, but ya know what? I KNOW what great writers are. my main subject at university is english literature, and for me actually noone comes above William Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe. But hey, I think Adeline is really talented, but just cause she doesn't live in the time the big writers were made, doesn't mean she's a great writer!! For me a great writer is someone who can touch, you makes you live the story he/she wrote. And exactly that happened when I read it. And to end this, you ever heard of a personal opinion?! Just cause the mainstream says e.g Thomas Mann ( a german author; german literature is one of my other subjects) is great writer doesn't mean I think so. I've read a few of his books, and I absolutely don't like his writing style! Understand what I mean?

Thanks for the support Phyll, and may I add this is true of all fanfiction writers. We don't like to see our work bashed, but we can take constructive remarks and advice. If you think so little of fanfic writers, then why read fanfiction at all?
