An interesting thought

Just as I was ploughing my way through the 'Rachel jealousy thread' I was thinking about the future of Friends. They haven't signed up for another series, so one can only presume this is the end. As many of us already know, the actors want to pursue film careers, which they could kick start with a Mega Friends Finale Feature-length Film! Think of the ratings! ;) It could give the writers a chance to redeem themselves and tie up the loose ends of the storyline. 9 episodes isn't really enough, but think what they could do with a film!

The cast of friends have signed on for three more seasons.

This is news. When did this happen, and where did you hear it? How much are they getting paid? Now, NBC signed up for three more years of Friends some time ago. *The cast* did not.
