Well, if it is true (her publicist denies it), they could easily write in a baby for Monica. She and Chandler have been married for a while, and she's always wanted kids.

Agreed. The triplets are definitely legitimate, just not conceived traditionally.

Hey, why don't they visit their Aunt Phoebe more often. Maybe she goes to their house. Yeah, that's it! She visits the triplets on non-airing days when Ross has custody of Ben, and Joey is out with all of his dates. Oh sure, it's all so simple when you think of it. ;-)

Unless there IS a 9th Season, this will all be a moot point. If she's just getting a test now, she can't be much more than a month pregnant. It's February. Season 8 will wrap up its airing in THREE months. That means it should wrap up filming within the next TWO. Most likely, she won't even be showing yet.

At their last contract negotiations, we didn't learn until July whether or not we would have a Season 7. That would make her around 7 months pregnant as Season 9 filming would even begin. Certainly possible.

If there's even the remote possibility of there being a Season 9, Mon could announce her pregnancy as Rach gives birth. Or not.

A baby might just be reason enough not to renew.
