It was the repeat tonight in US syndication.

The show when Monica threw the 'boring party' (with Rachel's mom) and Joey & Chandler have the 'fun party' (with Rachel's dad)...Remember the scene where Chandler comforts Rachel in the hallway after her speech about the 4th of July? When he passes her off to Ross when Ross opens Joey & Chandler's door was very moving for some reason.

Maybe just for me? Maybe it's because of the lack of interplay between Chandler & Rachel that this was a special scene. No matter, it was a highlight for me, and another great show that I missed the first time around.

you are dead right, truely a brill episode, personally, i think they(the script writers) never do enough chandler and rachel episodes, pheobe and chandler episodes, and joey and monica stories.

Odd you should mention those pairings, since today's early repeat was the one where Chandler & Phoebe teamed to break up with Janice, and Joey & Monica went to dinner together in Joey's plot to win his ex-girlfriend back. They team them up so infrequently that it's a nice treat to see the shows where they get storylines together.
