Mysteries of Friends?

Now that _Friends_ is wrapping up, what are the unresolved questions you have about storylines? One that I have is about Pete Becker's restaurant. Remember in season three when he buys a restaurant so Monica can be the chef, but she declines when she realizes he's in love with her? Since she doesn't have romantic feelings for him in return, she believes it would be wrong to accept. But later on, she does develop feelings for him, and they date until TOW the Ultimate Fighting Champion. So why did she not take the chef position once they started dating?

If anyone remembers this issue being addressed on the show, somehow, I'd love to be reminded. And maybe there are ATF-ers with answers to your mysteries, if you post them. :)

I think he wanted to pursue becoming the "ultimate champion" and Monica said she didn't think she could see him beaten up like that and couldn't go through supporting him, so they broke up.

Monica was thinking after the round of heavy beating, he would quit but he said "did you think I had this empire in one night?" or something like that referring to his business. So he made clear that he didn't want to quit. He had to try harder.

Sibel, that's why they broke up, but I don't think the restaurant issue was really resolved. Did she accept it when they started to date and then quit when they broke up over the ultimate fighting, or did she never accept it in the first place? A bit of a loose end, is all. :)
