C & M's marriage?

Hi all, I'm a serial lurker here. I was thinking, after watching last night's show and in the past few shows, also, I've noticed that Chandler and Monica seem to be getting less enchanted with each other...meaner. MUCH less laughter and smiling....they just seem to snip at eachother. It seems way too soon in the marriage for boredom..lol. I was thinking last night, I wonder if they'll separate in the future? I really hope not, but I don't like how the writers seem to have their marriage going...what do you think?

Hi I too have noticed this happening and think the writers are having trouble coming up with good scripts involving M & C this season. I hope M & C don't breakup because I do think they make a good couple.

This reminds me of what happened on the 70's sitcom Rhoda. When they spun off the character of Rhoda from the Mary Tyler Moore show, Rhoda moves to NY and marries her boyfriend Joe. As I recall the wedding episode got high ratings but after that the writers had a hard time coming up with fresh and funny ideas. By the third season they have Rhoda & Joe split, probably because the writers thought it would be easier to write funny material for a newly divorced Rhoda. The episodes did not really improve after the split.

Also, I don't think the series will be going for years more...the focus of the show will never be a serious breakup between Chandler & Monica

C&M are boring...hope the writers get back to good writing.

ok, at first I'm sorry for the first post, I keep on hitting ctrl+return recently (which sends mails/posts out) and secondly I think that the same goes for when ross & rachel were together. I mean they didnt really get any good story lines out of that, except for maybe the one where ross and rachel's dad dont get along (cant think of the name of that episode right now), or the thing with paolo and the animal sex in "TOW Dr. Ramoray dies" (i think thats the one...)
