The One That Could Have Been

Oh my god!! Did anyone else immensely enjoy this episode?!?! I loved it! It was sooo funny, especially the opening credits. Everything seemed to be just like it would be, except what was up with Rachel?? I mean, would she really look like that if she'd married Barry? Her clothes were gross, and her hair looked like she was hooker, all teased with jewels in it and stuff. But oh well. I think Chandler looked like a lil hottie with those glasses on, did anyone else?? And Joey looked better too, classier i think. Ooops, i have to go, i'll finish this post later, k? bye bye! Oh, and tell me what you think about my thoughts so far.

I thought the opening titles were cute.

Monica and Chandler were much more fun in this episode.

Actually, I get the impression that this episode constucted an alternate universe in which everyone is more like they were in season 1 (personality wise), but they are paired up like they are today. Kind of interesting.

I actually liked this episode quite a bit, but if I seem not very enthusiastic it's because I'm still wiped out by one of the most heart wrenching ER episodes ever.

They are paired up like they are today because they were imagining what would have happened, today! Had they imagined back then, Ross and Rachel would have most likely gotten together. =) They're coming pretty close though...

LOL, Katrina. Yes, the episode was hilarious and yes- Matthew is one guy who looks gorgeous with glasses. I loved the return of David's old hair as well. He looked VERY handsome. And Matt- is a K-N-O-C-K-O-U-T and always will be... despite what he's wearing. OK... not have I've caused all the boys on the ATF to drool I'll get your comment on Rachel. I thought her outfits were cute. I'd prefer the normal Rachel fashion sense but remember that dressing a bit different doesn't mean you're a hooker. I probably have the most varied sense of fashion than anyone. I'm a "hooker" one day... sporty the next... sahionable another... and I love the Phoebe look myself. (Now the guys are drooling again.) Oh, and the opening credits... *begins to aplaud*.

he did look good. So did matt. But i think david looked good in the opening credits and in the teaser. Now that his hair is 'good' again, i think he has been very attractive. Although, i didn't like his hair in the rest of the episode, because the writers' intentions were for him to be his old "dorky" self. Anyone else?

Hellooooo!!! After getting drunk in Vegas, SHNOCODY doodled cat whiskers on his/her face and miaowed this little lot at a statue...

His hair was best in S4... oh, yes. :)

OMG, I know what you mean. . .yes, Lucy died. The moment it happened was terribly sad even if I knew it was coming.

Yeah, right down to the very last scene with Carter seeing her. I think this last one was the most touching ER episode i've ever seen though.

Yep. Everybody's blank looks - superb. That scene in the restaurant across the way for some reason reminded me of the season 2 finale of St. Elsewhere, with all the med students looking forward to next year (and Cavannero inviting them to think of all the rookies they get to abuse), until Morrison (who just barely made the cut at the last minute) sobers them up with a toast to the memory of Wendy Armstrong who had just killed herself (and she was the reason Morrison made it).

Not sure why I thought of that, but I did.
