Can anyone tell me How to get a new USENET group started? Someone has to create them & by the odd titles out there I assume its not always someone intelligent. I was actually looking for information about DVD Easter eggs (as many of you know I am a fan of them) and thought HEY that would make a good NG.

So anyone have any idea how these groups are created???

Ask your news provider to add it. Ask your friends to do the same with their providers. Once Supernews and Giganews and Easynews and the rest of the "big" companies have it, it will trickle down to the rest. Some servers can add it overnight, others do weekly adds, but that's by far the easiest way.
