Will MP Drag Out C&M's Storyline?

Possible Spoilers, but I doubt it.

Now that Matthew Perry is back in rehab, do you think that they're gonna continue to put-off C&M's wedding until the eighth season? What could this mean for the possible storylines they've been planning for the final season?

Best case scenario, this season finale could focus on R&R, pushing C&M's wedding back until November or February of season eight. And, hopefully, this will eliminate any possibility of a Mondler baby.

Worst case scenario, they'll drag out C&M's wedding until the final episode of the series, and rewrite everything that they had planned through then to satisfy Perry's conditions. This means, we'll have more stories like Phoebe's fire alarm (amusing, though lame) and Rachel's assistant.

God, Matthew...for your sake and the show's...get well soon.

There won't be any babies until one of the actresses gets pregnant, which reminds me that all the gossip last year was a load of dingo's kidneys.

It all depends on how quick he gets well. I've never known anyone in rehab, so I'm not clear on how long someone is treated. He'll probably miss this week's taping, and possibly next week's. But I'd be honestly surprised if he doesn't at least return to film the season finale. But if his condition is more serious than what is being led on, and he does not appear in any more episodes this season, then the wedding would probably be put off until early next season.

In the small chance he does not return this season, the show will need another big storyline to carry it during May sweeps. If anything is planned yet for next season, it's possible something could be moved up. But most likely, nothing else major will happen on the show until after C&M get married.

With Ross and Joey fighting over a girl shortly, and Rachel kissing a woman, it doesn't seem likely. There hasn't been any build up at all, and we are quickly running out of episodes this season. It will be interesting to see what the writers pull out of their hat at tomorrow's taping, with MP presumably absent.

It all depends on CCA. MP's absence will have no effect if she becomes pregnant in real life.

That would be a nightmare.
