hey there, after watching 911 I'm pretty stunned that the writers have made such an irresponsible mistake.... Chandler tells Monica that she can't be pregnant as he didn't have an orgasm...that's wrong! sperm can get out before the orgasm.... well, a lot of teenagers are watching the series, so I'm really pretty angry...

I'm sorry to be picky about this - but when a man and a woman are having sex without a condom (obviously since they were trying to get pregnant), the woman can definatly feel if at the end sperm came out or not ... it's pretty obvious, and I don't see how faking an orgasm and causing no sperm to come out could make Monica (or any other woman) believe the orgasm was real. Maybe it's just me.

Well, in the first place, it IS possible for some sperm to get out without an orgasm. (After all, it only takes one.) Second, it is possible for a man to fake an orgasm and not be found out by the woman he is with--although she might wonder, unless she is very naive. Nevertheless, both are possible, and I know first hand on both accounts. Now, that's all I plan to say about that.

If you haven't raised kids... you should hear some of the things their friends try to pass off as truth. My oldest came to me when she was 19 asking me if it was true that a female couldn't get pregnant if she didn't have an orgasm. A female co-worker older than her told my daughter that her doctor told her that. Keep those lines of communication open parents. It doens't end when they turn 18.
